Rhoevad

Rhoevad is a modern blackletter built from bold, chiseled verticals and clean, angular cuts—like carved strokes with crisp corners and confident weight. The capitals feel architectural and commanding, while select letters introduce dramatic hooks and extended terminals that add a logo-like flair.

The overall character is sharp and high-contrast, with tight inner counters and sturdy stems that keep every glyph looking solid and “metal-ready” without turning muddy. Uppercase forms read taller and more ornamental, making them perfect for titles, initials, and nameplates; the lowercase set is more compact and rhythmic, with distinctive broken-stroke details that keep words cohesive at display sizes. In dark backgrounds, Rhoevad looks especially punchy—its heavy strokes and pointed edges glow with strong silhouette clarity—while on bright backgrounds it stays readable as long as you give it enough size (or a touch of tracking) so the fine inner shapes don’t collapse.

This font really shines in bold, short copy: band logos, album artwork, streetwear graphics, motorcycle/vintage badges, posters, and packaging that needs an intense blackletter presence. For best results, use it large (headline/display range) and avoid long paragraphs; start around 24–32 pt for branding marks, and 48 pt+ for posters or covers where the details can breathe.
