Poppins is a geometric sans serif typeface that blends modern structure with international versatility. Designed to support both Devanagari and Latin writing systems, it brings a clean, circular rhythm to every letterform.
Each character is nearly monolinear, with subtle optical adjustments that maintain smooth visual balance. Many of the Latin shapes, such as the ampersand, follow a precise and rational construction, while the Devanagari design stands out as one of the first in its genre to offer multiple weights.
Originally developed by the Indian Type Foundry, the Devanagari was designed by Ninad Kale and the Latin by Jonny Pinhorn. Poppins continues to be celebrated for its geometric harmony and professional versatility across both scripts.
