Infido is a regular display typeface by Michele Casanova, based on scans of the early twentieth-century Clio or Kleopatra design, known in Italy as Fidia. It has a narrow, upright rhythm with thin low-contrast strokes, rounded terminals, and eccentric Art Nouveau-style letterforms, especially in the capitals and descending lowercase shapes. The font reads best in larger settings where its unusual curves and historical details remain clear, making it suitable for titles, posters, editorial headings, cultural graphics, and vintage-inspired branding. It includes stylistic alternate capitals and historical ligatures, and is licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.
